Owner has a newer set purchased around 2013 with only about 15,000 hours on them.
They are the MGX version with special clutches that slip a bit on engagement making for a very smooth transition ahead to astern.
Additional Information:
The MGX units are a Remote Couple setup. These are Remote or Island Mount – so the parts to change out the housing would need to be purchased if using these actual transmissions.
Shaft out of the input side mounts to the engine via flange currently.
Flange is not with the units. Would need to be purchased separately. These units can be converted to close couple with housing and spider gear input type for the cost of the parts and labor.
