Product Description:
The marsh buggy is powered by a 350 Chevrolet engine to which are attached two hydraulic pumps. These pumps provide the power to move the treads which move the buggy. The unit assembled is approximately 20 feet long, 12 feet wide and 10 feet high. The buggy is disassembled and ready for shipment.
The burying sled is approximately 7 feet wide and 17 feet long.It has a hydraulic powered burying chain with attached cutting teeth enabling it to bury through any composition of terrain. There is a separate hydraulic power plant by which the unit is powered.
There is a hydraulic powered cable reel which mounts on an A-Frame from which the cable is laid through the marsh.
The trailer for these two units(burying sled and cable reel) is approximately 7feet wide and 30 feet long.
The dual pontoon boat which is used to carry the cable reel through the marsh is approximately 12 feet wide and 16 feet long. It has its own trailer for transport.
Lastly there is the airboat. This unit is necessary to transport the crew to and from the burying equipment located in the marsh. It is powered by a 450 horsepower v-8 automotive engine.
