Single or Pair Cummins QSC 8.3 Marine Propulsion Core Engines for Rebuild

Running takeouts pulled from a work boat. Engines have approximately 10,000Hrs on a rebuild.
Inline 6 cylinder, 4-cycle
Engines are 490HP Each- Can Be increased to 594Hrs

Prior to removal from the vessel new starters installed and also new aftercoolers installed.

The engines ran while installed aboard the vessel prior to removal.  The vessel experienced electrical/wiring problems that affected the engine starting/control system. At times, the engines had to be manually started from the engine room due to the vessel’s electrical/start-control issues.

The engines also experienced excessive black exhaust smoke during operation. The source of the smoke was not definitively diagnosed before the engines were removed. There was concern regarding a possible internal engine/cylinder issue, but no confirmed diagnosis was established.

Running when pulled.  Stored outdoors uncovered for 1.5 years.
