Drydock was built in 2016 and was originally 80′ long x 80′ wide. In 2024, owner extensively rebuilt, upgraded and lengthened 30′ on the stern. (130′ spec sheet and worklist detailing all the work that was done are available for review with named interest)
Buyer can add another 30′ in length on the bow to make her 160′ overall with a 1600t capacity. ( 160′ spec sheet also available with named interest).

Design and Classification:
Dock designed and built in accordance with American Bureau of Shipping Rules for Building and Classing Steel Floating Drydock.
Dewatering Systems:
The dock has a total of (10) watertight compartments with (8) measuring 25’-0” long x 40’-0” wide and (2) measuring 30’-0” long x 40’-0” wide. Each watertight compartment is fitted with a 6” x 6” submersible Barmesa pump that has a pumping capacity 2,150 GPM and is fitted with a 20 HP motor rated at 440VAC Motors at 1750 RPM. The suction of the pumps is within a sump and all pumps discharge onto the deck of the dock.
Flooding System:
Flooding of the barge is provided by (10) 6” knife valves. Valves are manually operated from the topside of the port and starboard wingwall control deck. There is a total of (10) flooding seachest located on the exterior of the barge sides at the lightship waterline and are bolted directly to the flooding valves. Grating is located on the exterior of the seachest to prevent debris from entering the barge compartments.
Dock Blocking:
The dock is equipped with two sliding blocks to hold vessels in place and fourteen (14) 3’ high center mounted blocks, which nine (9) are double keel blocks for the vessel keel to rest on to provide maximum support for your vessel.
Handrails:
The dock handrails are 36” tall and consist of 1.25” schedule 40 steel pipe that is fitted with (3) horizontal rails for safety of the dock personnel. The rails are fitted all around the wing wall decks complete with safety chains as needed.
Stairs and Ladders:
The dock is fitted with a port and starboard inclined stairs on the aft side of the dock to allow easy access to the wingwall top compete with safety handrails. On the port and starboard bow of the dock, there is a vertical ladder complete with a safety cage to access the forward section of the wingwall deck area.
Ventilation:
The dock barge compartments are fitted with 6” vent pipes that extend upward to the wingwall deck and are fitted with a 180⁰ turndown and are located near the ends of the compartments. The wingwalls are vented with 6” vent pipes that are extended to the wingwall deck.
Electrical Distribution:
The dock is wired for 440VAC / 60 Hz – 3 phase electrical service. There are (2) electrical distribution panels located within the control house that provides power to the dock electrical system. The pumps are controlled by an independent start / stop push button that controls each pump that are located on the control console inside the control house. There are several electrical outlets within the control house for general service. There is a 208/440 VAC stepdown transformer located with the control house to allow power to the lower voltage items on the dock.
Lighting:
There are (5) LED Flood lights located on the port and starboard wingwall. The floodlights are on top of a vertical 2” pipe to allow full adjustment of the lights to the vessel or work areas as needed.
Winches:
There are (5) LR-250, 25-ton capacity winches located on the port wingwall and (5) RR-250, 25-ton capacity winches located on the starboard wingwall. Each winch is fitted with 0.75” (6 x 26) EIPS IWPS Drawn Galvanized Cable with the 5/8” x 18” tail chain with hook.
Deck Fittings:
The wingwall deck is fitted with “D”-Rings, Kevels Chocks, and Tie-Down Rings along with other various deck fittings to secure the vessel while on dock.
Fenders:
The dock is fitted with various fender pipes on the bow section and the inside section to protect Dock and Vessels.
Draft Marks:
There are 6” tall painted draft numbers on the aft side of the wingwall and inboard side of the vertical wingwall.

Securing of Dock:
The dock is secured in place with (2) vertical 24” x ½” pipes filled with concrete with sliding saddles to allow the dock to float free in location.
Dock Work Barges:
The aft section of the dock will have (2) floating 24’ long x 16’ wide x 4’ deep work barges to allow access to the stern of the vessel once vessel is docked. The two work barges can be shifted left or right as needed.
