If the new owner is inclined to use it, there is a backwards compatible analog bridge to tie into the radar tower by Garmin™ and the Garmin™ GPS puck underneath the steps. Navigation is now better on a display on an iPad. Displays are faster, cheaper, better, more accurate, full color…and there are at least eight (8) open source (free nautical mapping) for location, depth, and other references.
