The vessel is propelled by twin Caterpillar model 3406 marine diesel engines of 425 hp each.
The engines are coupled to Twin Disc model MG 516 reverse/reduction gears of 4.5:1 ratio, with
4” Aquamet propeller shafts.
Main engine hours: port side 4,513, starboard side 4,251.
a model bow tug of all welded steel construction. It is low waisted,
with sheer forward, surrounded by boxed bulwarks full perimeter. Superstructure is full
walkaround, with the accommodation on the main deck and pilothouse raised above the second
deck.
vessel was reportedly drydocked in late July of 2019 for new bottom paint and sacrificial
anodes. At that time, it was reported that the U.S. Coast Guard conducted hull survey for
Subchapter M and compliance.
Recently has $30,000 of work done to it.
Certificate of Inspection was issued on October 8, 2019 and expires on October 8, 2024.
The vessel’s last drydock exam was October 8, 2021 with the next drydock exam due August 31,
2024.
