Our overhaul includes replacement of all:
- Cylinder kits
- Crankshaft and camshaft bearings and seals
- All seals and gaskets internal and external of the entire engine.
- Rebuild of all:
- fuel injectors
- connecting rods
- cylinder heads
- Blowers
- fuel pump
- oil pump
- regulator and relief valve
- idler gear assembly
- Engine block is completely vatted, cleaned, pressure checked, and qualified.
- Crankshafts and camshafts are sent to local machine shops and polished or machined as necessary
Note: Major machine work such as align bore or cylinder bore on the engine block, casting repair, and/or crankshaft and camshaft machine work is not included in the overhaul price. If needed, these items will be quoted as adjustments to the invoice and sent over for approvals as necessary.
The shop’s warranty is six (6) months of parts and labor.
This is basically an in-shop warranty. Any expenses related to travel time, mileage, overtime, lodging, boat down time, shipyard fees, etc. are not covered by the shop’s warranty. Shop has a comprehensive checklist that we will furnish with each rebuilt engine that must be performed by the party that does the engine installation. Part of the requirement is that proper and functioning gauges and alarms must be in place for any warranty to be honored. We will need a copy of the completed report for each engine in order to honor the warranty.
