Pair CAT C32 Marine Propulsion Engines Rebuilt RXB

● Original hours reported on the engines: Port Engine – 4,492; Stbd Engine – 2,627.
● Engines were inspected by Caterpillar Dealer for another customer and found to have pitting
starting in multiple cylinders on each engine. That along with other signs of wear brought
Caterpillar to the conclusion that a complete overhaul of each engine was recommended.
● Engines equipped with Derate Software in their ECMs that will correspond to the alarms
in the panels.
● Included in the supply of the engine packages are single station controls and panels from the
pilot house, harnesses from pilot house to the engine room, control boxes, and connectors.
Complete Overhaul Specifications.
● Overhaul both Main engines back to CAT Standard Zero hours.
● Both engines were torn down including having blocks inspected to verify if any pitting in the
block. If any pitting found, blocks were machined and crank, cams all honed.
● Both units will be ran after completion of Overhauls to confirm both are performing to CAT standards.
